Lilli Cowley-Wood: Textile Design |
|
Name Lilli Cowley-WoodAbout I have currently completed my 3rd year, studying BA Textile Design at Central Saint Martins (specialising in Print). Print is an area in which I can really express my passion for textiles as well as photography and illustration. I would describe my prints as poetic, narrative-based and dream-like. I have a fascination with animals and often use them in my projects. I like to use photography as a starting point and a way to explore new ideas and compositions; most of my illustrations are drawn from my photographs of people, animals and scenery around me. I enjoy sketching in live situations to capture movement and one-off moments. http://chocolatecreative.blogspot.com/2009/06/more-talent-lilli-cowley-wood.html#comments Exhibited at New Designers 2009 Current work-Print assistant for Error Solutions "Lovenskate" at The Mangle Studio, London... www.errorsolutions.wordpress.com Other work includes assisting on photographic shoots at studios in Brighton and London, with Paul Winter and Chris Biggs and Associates.
