I would describe my prints as narrative-based and surreal. Much of my imagery has a story or personal connection behind it; my memories and vivid dreams influence my work a lot. I have a fascination with animals and often use them in my projects. I like to use photography as a starting point and a way to explore new ideas and compositions; most of my illustrations are drawn from my photographs of people, animals and scenery around me. I enjoy sketching in live situations to capture movement and one-off moments.

Much of my inspiration comes from others such as: Tilleke Schwarze, Camille Rose Garcia, Arthur Rackham, Yelena Yemchuck, Meryl Smith, Peter Callesen, H.R. Giger, Alice Maher, Goya, Kathleen Lolley, Suzanne Sattler, Andrew Pommier, Klaus Haapaniemi, Tim Walker, Chris Buzelli, Kit Williams, Juan Munoz, Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake, Christopher Pearson, Lauren Moriarty, Annette Messager...
